TaxEase360 ("we", "us", "our") is a financial tracking and tax compliance platform operated by Right & Keystone Taxation Experts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our app and services.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed).
  • Identity verification (KYC/AML): date of birth, residential address, mobile number, Tax File Number, identity documents (passport, driver licence, Medicare card), and a verification selfie.
  • Financial records: receipts, expense diary entries, vehicle logbook trips, bank statements, and uploaded documents.
  • Communications: messages between you and your accountant, and AI assistant conversations.

3. Google Sign-In

We offer Google Sign-In as an authentication option. When you choose this, Google shares your basic profile information (name and email address) with us. We use this solely to create and access your account. We do not access, read, or store your Google emails, contacts, or any other Google data. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To verify your identity and meet Australian AML/CTF obligations.
  • To prepare tax returns, BAS, and financial reports.
  • To communicate with you about your appointments and tax matters.
  • To improve our services and comply with legal requirements.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only with your assigned accountant or franchisee, and with service providers that process data on our behalf (such as cloud hosting and authentication providers). We never sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Data Security & Retention

Your data is stored securely with access controls and encryption in transit. Identity documents and financial records are retained for the periods required by Australian tax law and ATO record-keeping obligations (typically five years).

7. Your Rights

  • Access and request a copy of your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Withdraw consent for Google Sign-In at any time.
